Chat and join cp

I went on the server and I thankfully got some help on the chat box commands, the guy said I could get the full info by pressing f1. f1 is bound to my windows help and I don't know how to unbind it ect, so if someone could either give the the commands or how to unbind it I would be grateful.

Also, how would I get a character to join the civil protection once I sort out the basics? I got confused trying to work it out with all the Civil militia stuff on top of it as well. :/

Not sure about your key binding problem but you can join the Civil Protection by going to the Universal Union section of the forums and applying in the application post, it is however currently closed but it shouldn't be too long before they open up again. Its better to play as a normal citizen for awhile anyway so you can fully come to grips with all the TnB canon etc.

The CRM doesn't exist anymore, it was for another point in the timeline of the servers roleplay.

I'm not 100% sure, but try hitting "Fn lock" to stop it from exiting out of Gmod for the help menu.
