Here's what's gonna happen: all the shitters and retards that got banned ages back are going to crawl out of their holes due to the revival of SRP, they're gonna take advantage of this "clean slate", do the same stupid shit they've been doing for years and cause a whole lot of drama, shitty CCC threads and overall tears before they're finally sent packing again.

imo if you get banned for dumbshittery you should get banned from tnb at large, that goes for server and forums

you don't get to go ruin somebody's day on a different server, get slapped on the wrist and go to "your" server and get off scot free

despite the vitriol and individual servers/sub-communities, TnB is one community at heart. i don't think we should be treating it like a bunch of independent servers/communities under an umbrella.

no its not a matter of opinion if someone breaks rules on one server why would they suddenly obey the rules of another server

not only that, but we've already seen plenty of examples throughout tnb history of players with no interest in x subcommunity going and shitting on the other because they know they're essentially immune to the consequences - for example i wouldn't bat an eyelid at a ban from trp or (given the other communities running it are more promising from my view) srp, but i'd - actually no this is a bad analogy, if i got banned from tnb hl2rp it'd be the best thing to happen to me in two years

if people are cunts in one place they shouldn't be exempt from punishment in the other, it's a stupid policy which empowers shitlords to behave reprehensibly just like they've already built a reputation for doing

SRP is going to have its own administration team. If they want to give people a clean slate, why do we even care?

Certain individuals will remain banned in our nick of the woods, so why are we so worried about it? If people go full retard on SRP, get banned, and try the same thing on HL2 RP its not hard to just hit them with a ban, it takes very little time or effort.

If you don't agree with me, sorry, but that's just my point of view. We're pissing our pants over an issue that isn't even ours to deal with. A community ban is different then getting banned from a sub-community. The only reason its being confused is because TnB has only had HL2 RP for the past year and a half.

That's a temporary issue though, once the STALKER Team is up, I'm sure the responsibility of unbanning will be separate(when it comes to server bans). HL2 Admins deal with people trying to get unbanned for HL2, and SRP Admins will deal with people trying to get unbanned for SRP.

imo a ban from TnB is a ban from TnB

you get banned from hl2, you're banned from srp

you get banned from srp, you're banned from hl2

part of the point floki is saying is that he doesn't think an admin on the hl2 side shouldnt have any weight to a situation on srp, however, bans could be more worthwhile if they were for both servers given certain circumstances

As a last point, I'd like to remind everyone that bans from the community often have to do with awful behaviour in general, or in a capacity that's unrelated to activity on the HL2RP server... Unbanning them to play at SRP when the reasons for their ban go beyond breaking rules at HL2RP makes no sense at all.

lets just say ill be testing that good ol' script ban system if anyone currently banned mysteriously got unbanned right as srp comes up...
also this isn't a "hl2 admins" thing this is the big boys sayin it aint happening

feel free to appeal a couple weeks after srp is up so ur bans will actually feel like punishment
