Uh... hey, as a NOOB, I must ask certain things that are looked for in a CCA application, what sort of things do the wan't, I'm pretty sure I've got it all right, but I'd like to verify.

Also, what can get you kicked out? Cause I got school/work and stuff sometimes, I usually play from 3pm onward.

While you shouldn't focus too heavily on your childhood or pre-war, some general things worth remembering:
  • The rough timeline: the Resonance Cascade around 1998, the Portal Storms starting in 2004, the move to military fortified urban centers in 2006, the 7 Hour War in 2010, and then our current setting in 2020. Take into consideration the likely drastic change in technological, governmental, and cultural development once the Resonance Cascade occurred.
  • You cannot be an ex-military character without administrator authorization. All standard authorization requirements apply.
  • Civil Protection and Overwatch would not have been present during the 7 Hour War, with the Combine invasion probably having been synthetics exclusively. Establishment of all Civil Authority branches would not have been an immediate process.
  • If you were between the ages of 8 and 18 at the end of the war, you were inducted into the Graduate institutions and indoctrinated with propaganda and teachings to side with the Combine. You would graduate sometime between 18 and 25, depending on age of induction and other variables, such as obedience, merit, and devotion to the transhumanist ideal.
  • Understand that applying for Civil Protection would put a spotlight on your character and their past record, with the vetting process serving to eliminate any potential applicants with a lengthy list of violations and crimes, ergo it would be wise to avoid applying on any sort of anti-citizen or malignant. If you've been missing ration distributions, work cycles, or been outside the city for extended periods, it would be noticed.
  • You don't need to write ten pages to get accepted, nor should you write just a few sentences. We need to see that you're a capable roleplayer and understand the setting. Your character doesn't need to be flawless nor should they be completely flawed, and you should avoid major tropes, cliches, and stereotypes.
  • This list is just a general reminder on certain elements, and simply reading it off and throwing in these facts without actually considering its purpose and effects is a way to get denied. We want to see more than simply a statement of random facts.

You'll only be removed for low activity if you literally never show up, getting on 2 or 3 times a week is fine even. If you aren't going to be one a lot then you should inform your assigned Field Command.
