Can't See Names or Titles/Wierd Aiming Bug

So I logged onto the server, and, all of a sudden, everybody's Names and titles were completely missing.

Whenever, when I turned on DepthHud's crosshair, the issue immidiately became clear.

Normally, that white dot is supposed to be at the center, and generally represents where Gmod's 'Cursor" is (such as when using the C Menu). However, instead of doing that, it's completely all over the place, which causes this problem.

Except I have no idea how to fix it.

In addtion, this renders me unable to pick up items or use Keypads. I tried restarted GMOD, and when I start up the game in single player everything works fine. (Dot's normal, I can use Keypads just fine).

Delete your whole Garrysmod folder. It's a pain in the ass but it can help. In the event it doesn't, re-install Garrysmod. That'll do the trick for sure.

TBH, I hate this response. OF COURSE it will work, but nobody wants to do that. "Oh, your plumbing in your house doesn't work? Well get a new house! That'll fix it!"

I mean, it's easier than getting a new house just reinstalling garry's mod, but that's sort of an inplied solution as a last resort, he's obviously asking to see if there's an alternative rather than reinstalling everything.

They do, and I've tried doing that, but, it gets to be a pain in the ass.

And I'll try reinstalling Garrysmod, but I won't delete my folders just yet.

I reinstalled whole Steam and one of my problems didn't get fixed.

Then it wasn't a problem with anything Steam related, or the same problem happened again due to re-installing the same buggy addon or such.

In this case, it's pretty obviously a problem with Steam and not a hardware issue.

Yeah, I do, specifically sharpeye. Doubt that it will work, but I'll give removing that a shot.

I'm thinking lua is the only thing that would cause this, especially if it only happens when you're on a server running TS2. I'd suggest clearing out all addons and the entire lua folder then see if it works. If it does, you can then reinstall addons/scripts one at a time until you locate the problem.

Do you by any chance use a third person camera addon? The one I used to use had an issue that was somewhat similar to this.

That used to happen to me with SharpEYE, it stopped in the latest update.

Try updating?
