Can't Join The Server - Steam VAC Issue

When I attempt to join the game an error comes up that says "A connection to the VAC servers could not be madel." Steam Network has been down all day and it's starting to anger me. Anyone know how to solve this?

The only reason I could think of is that your account has somehow conflicted with VAC's policies or they are checking into it before they allow you full access back. I'm not accusing you of hacking or anything, but it seems like they have reason to believe otherwise.

I've never done any hacking in my life. Flat out fact. Thank you for your feedback, maybe it'll be fixed tomorrow.

Yeah, I wish I had more advice to give, but I'm not to familiar with VAC issues beyond what was already stated. Hopefully it works out, friend.

Tried, tried, and tried.

And now I am currently trying to play all other Steam games with online to see which ones work and whichnones don't.

CS:S - Same Error
Portal 2 - Same Error
Left 4 Dead 1&2 - Same Error

I've been getting this for the last year and a half, it's probably not a computer problem, but if it is there's a ton of stuff on Steam forums about it. Mine is a internet problems and not much that I can do about it.

yeh, this. I'd recommend trying a wired connection if you aren't already on one. other than that, it doesn't seem there is a solution.

Well I waited it out and it fixed on it's own. Blame Gabe, my Internet works perfect.

I also was having these issues this evening. I think VAC was just having a few hiccups.
