Can't connect to server

So, I've been trying to start on the HL2RP server since I took a break and I connect ok, but after 5-30 seconds, my game freezes and crashes. No error message, no popup, just crashes.

I've tried:
Re-Installing
Disabling all addons not needed for HL2RP
Verifying the integrity of the game cache


So far, nothing has worked and the only server I am not effected with this problem is a server I have been playing on for a year and a half now.

honestly the best thing you probably could do is hit that "uninstall all addons" in the addons thing and then delete the addons folder in your gmod

then reinstall all the addons u need

Weird. Are you using WIndows 10? A mac?

Try unmounting TF2 if you have it mounted.

The newest update broke some stuff in GMOD.

And yes, I'm using Windows 10.

I tried the TF2 unmounting and completely wiping the addons and addons folder and I am still having the problem.

Any other suggestions?

Run steam as an administrator?

Turn off downloads from servers in the options menu?

Nevermind, it seems restarting all my addons seemed to do it. Thanks for all of your help guys.
