For some reason, as of the last few days, I cannot connect to the forums from my home network. I can access them through a proxy, however. I keep getting a(n) ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT error and I've tried every fix that I could find online about it. Has anyone seen this in the past? Has anyone had this problem and has found a fix? Or is it something like my ISP?

I get the same thing when I'm at college maybe three times a day almost at random, but I also have no idea why.

I had this problem a while back, and it ended up just sort of resolving itself really.

Switching browsers didn't work, and nothing I could find online would work. Apparently making a post about it fixed it. Got home and it works, haha.

It worked from my mobile wifi but not on my laptop or desktop. I assume it may have been some sort of ISP issue maybe? Or possibly to do with my modem?

flush your dns

With ipconfig/flushdns or whatever the command is?

If it happens again, do what Jackson said and flush your dns or try a different dns entirely just to see.

Alternatively, just use Google's name servers and basically never have issues related to that again.

ur tubes are probably clogged, in which case flushing ur dns is just gonna make a mess

prob gonna have to buy new ethernet cables and just be more careful with large downloads in the future
