Intel i7 980x @ 4.1ghz
12gb G.Skill Trident 2000mhz X.M.P.
Asus Rampage III X58 Motherboard.
2x Nvidia Palit GTX580
RAID 0 Western Digital Blacks 1TB
2TB Western Digital FRAPs drive
3TB External Storage.
160GB Intel G2 SSD.

You know, if you want to spend the time working with cooling systems, you could just overclock your stuff with cooling out the ass, but that truely does require cooling, and monitoring your tempratures to make sure they don't go too high. Can save you a few price points though when you do it right.

Overclocking should be saved for enthusiasts. Partially because it risks your hardware and requires prior knowledge. The other reason is that it's only going to cost you further on cooling, and in the end, does not tend to compare to owning a stock product of higher quality.

It's all a matter of motherboard compatability, mostly just whether or not the slot is blocked off by the video card. If you are using the mobo I recommended, you'll be fine.
