It really is. Most of the parts come with a guide that makes everything pretty much super easy to do, if not you could always just google it or upload pics on here and ask people for advice. Then again if you don't wanna do all that a pre-build one is best, but then you'll probably cut down on performance.

It's true. The computer I showed you is much better than the premade I showed you.
 
all the parts ves is linking are completely pointless, no games require any of that hardware...

With those parts you won't have to upgrade parts or years and still play a game like Crysis 3 in 2013 in ultra.
 
Future proofing is considered the worst thing to do when building PCs for obvious reasons.
 
I know you're just helping Ves, but a lot of what you are posting is off. Both processors in those prebuilts were released during the second quarter of 2012, and the i7 is significantly more powerful. The 570 also most likely wouldn't play Crysis 3 on ultra settings very nicely, lest they optimize the fuck out of it, or you enjoy low resolutions/lack of AA and AF. Also, Acer monitors? No sir. If you're building a computer, you should try to keep everything equal in terms of quality. No sense pouring money into a nice GPU if you're going to run it to a cheap monitor. It's like putting a GTX 680 into a pc with a pentium 4 cpu. Why bother?

Also, never recommend gateway. Just saying.

As far as advice goes, I'd definitely say build your own PC. It really isn't nearly as daunting of a task as it seems to be. Watch Newegg's video while you build, and you shouldn't go wrong. It's pretty simple business.

Edit: The monitor you have in your original post is actually what I use, Negative. I've been running two of them for years now. Their picture is fantastic, and they just keep getting cheaper. Over the years of building computers for myself and others, Asus has quickly become one of my favorite brands. You won't go wrong with them.
 
Alright, I can probably go for building my own pc, but i'd prefer if I had people who knew what they were doing actually showing me/choosing which parts I should use.

It's $1300 before shipping. If that's too much, drop the 670 for this 570. The 670 is one hell of a card though, so definitely consider it.

The 670 outperforms the 580, and consumes less power and creates less heat than the 570. The difference between the 670 and 570 is huge, and it will make a difference in the near future of games, all for a $100 difference. I would highly recommend it. Aside from which, I already said if it was too high of a price point, he should go with a 570.

Don't mock my religion, discombobulator's are built into the monitor already.
 
I run an 8400M GS. What would you suggest I upgrade to?
 
Hey... Hey... my thread in which I know nothing. So you guys know, these are the games i'm looking to play on the machine; BF3, LoL, Gmod, Guild Wars 2, Planetside 2, ect. ect. ect...
If Myersguy agrees I should just go with the 570 then I will, but if he thinks that the 670 will suit be better to my needs and for longer, then I guess i'll go with that.
 
My budget is 80 bucks build me a pc please.

It all comes down to whether or not you mind dropping your settings in the potential near future. Metro 2033, for instance, will not run at it's max settings and still achieve 30fps on a 570. It will on a 670. Other games may end up a bit choppy as well. As of late, games have been pushing graphics rather hard, so this problem will grow. Is this a problem for you? Do you mind losing some eye candy? Or does $100 more sound like a worthy investment? It comes down to your preference on these things, I was only giving mine.
