What happened: I was getting to a place ooc, when a guy in a trenchcoat came around the corner and took it IC. I decided to play along. He went back around the corner and pulled out a smg. When he came back around to face me, I emoted jumping at him (on his arms), and immediately after, he emoted gunning me out of the air. When I told him that it was powergame, he proceeded to be an ass about it in looc and walked off. Much later, someone in gooc said something about a headcrab in their apartment. Even though I wasn't even involved in that incident, he started talking shit about me in gooc and got half of the server to get mad at me.

What pisses me off is the fact that he didn't even consider that I would be able to jump on him quicker if I was '2 feet away from him' and when I was trying to educate him, he walked away and made an ass of himself in gooc. When I talked to Jylor, he agreed with me that Volodya was powergaming and was being an ass about it. Please do as you see fit and post anything that I may have missed.

this isn't a cookie-cutter clockwork server, I don't need to "attempt" to shoot you (or some synonym of attempt) when my character has drawn a bead on your character while 2 feet away

if you can provide a single example of how someone with more than 2 brain cells to rub together could possibly fuck up shooting a target within spitting distance with a two-handed weapon that he's already aiming, please, let's hear it

yes, he's the headcrab. he was moving into d1 via the d2 checkpoint and ran into my shady junk dealer (the guy that sold the other dude the "glasses that hide your identity from scanners") who bailed out and drew a gun to avoid wasting time since he was being chased from the other direction by units

why wedge "would seemingly attempt" into every single fucking emote? it's so fucking trite. if your character somehow evades a pose, then roleplay it. "attempt" ruins flow.

sure, the situation is shitty, but the point is to create roleplay, even tho it's short as shit and getting gunned down immediately
theres so many ways you two could have played it out

meaning im not going to sit around for enthralling roleplay with a brain parasite with cops on my heels

headcrabs are perfectly survivable xenians if you pick your battles instead of sitting in the open in a tunnel and attacking anyone who comes by until one of them happens to have a gun
