Recently I noticed that my Belkin cooling fan for my laptop stopped working. I decided to go on the internet to search about the problem. I know its not my USB ports, and I've pulled out all the hairs and fluff in their.
Its also incredibly dusty.
Help?

Is this something internal or external?
Have you tried checking the connections?

The wire is a little dented but I doubt thats the case.
I have no idea if its internal or external, but I'm leaning towards internal.

It is really easy to replace a fan.

well if your usb works then its probably the wire
strip the wire from near the fan and see if there is current, then close it up with electrical tape.

tbh ill probably shock my self doing that...
easiest way is to give it to belkin and say "pls fix"

it's broken because it's a belkin lol

srs though, just buy yourself a new one. I have one just like it and i don't remember it being that expensive. not worth it to find the right size fan if your not in japan like pepsi here.

Idk, maybe you have an in-store warranty that would cover it

because tiny electric fans are known to require heavy industry grade power and thats just what a laptop provides through a usb port
cooling pads are cheap as fuck and if youre asking us about it you probably dont want to buy a new one so thats p. much the only other solution if you dont have warranty.
if the fan had crap in it it might have been blocking it, killing the motor inside it.
