Zombie RR : Warned Lord - 10/4/25

Well that went to absolute shit. I fucked up.

Any feedback is for personal improvement, but I think on one hand, I simply had too many people and on the other, timetables got so fucked up that I couldn't keep track of what was happening. I was micro managing what I thought was gonna happen with what I intended, and it all just went to crap. I was originally intending to debut Cronus, but I fucked it up with the chopper. I get it, I left a bit too much to chance and it compounded to a point where it just exploded and I could either try to roll with the punches, or stop it there and let people chill the fuck out.

I think things went relatively fine, but what I didn't realize was just how much the chopper was struggling to both process the emotes directed at them by multiple different groups. In my hubris, I thought I could handle it, and let things play out, but the map was a limitation and I clearly did not anticipate things going the way they did. The people I got onboard as event characters had very little idea of what to actually do, and I think that was really just my fault failing to give them the correct instructions and plan of events. But the sheer amount of people I had brought on was dogging me down to a point where I couldn't keep track, I couldn't slow it down, and like a runaway train I had to let it play out even if it ended anticlimactically.

I'm toning down my scale and breadth of events, cuz that did turn me off of high violence bullshit which I kinda detested to begin with, so hopefully no more insane stuff like this, ham fisting what I thought was a good idea into an event. Big thanks to Slentz, Zombie, and a few others for putting up with the chaos, it would've gone a whole lot worse without them.

Lastly, some people were concerned about money. Brother, I wish I knew what the staff want to do with that too, I just sorta ask for it in increments and then pay it out and then ask for pocket change again like a child. If you have an issue with that, please consult with your local admin chat because I don't know the plan of action for that.
i played one of the cops who was picked up for your event on the fly, and fwiw i thought it was pretty cool. the atmosphere you cultivated was super cinematic, and that's the most important part of any event imo. past a certain point, it was a bit difficult to figure out what i should have been doing; that said, i still enjoyed myself.

yea i agree. i even remember asking "Are we doing this for the criminals?" I think if the bad guys enjoyed it, it's okay! I wouldn't mind putting the NYPD together in the future for something like that either where the cops lose just for storytelling. I'd love to give one of these guys a badass moment
