A little bit ago (more like a WHILE) , TunnelSnakeIrish donated for a Striker, as well as a vest that was given to the inner circle of friends (including me) thank RPed with him. The entire cell, I believe, was authed to use this weapon

However, I'm not to clear on how to obtain these weapons, as I've seen people trade existing weapons for a respective weapon they were authed for.

Can I get any more clearance or information on the issue and is it possible to obtain this weapon (the vest model was made with a striker and baseball bat, hence me asking if I am still authed or able to obtain the shotgun)?

Thanks.

I mean there really aren't any rules about trading weapons. I believe there's some extra rules with Pulse weaponry like AR2s and biolocks but, otherwise, I don't see why there would be an issue.

Some weapons are steamID locked, but that's donar stuff.

Didn't know that. Thanks for the input fam. But still, is it possible to give scripts to an admin to receive the desired one? I've seen it before. :excited:

I can't really speak for the administration team. That's up to them.

If you were authorized by him to use the striker, you should still be able to. to the best of my knowledge the gun is steam id locked (which is dumb as fuck, but then again so was tunnelsnakeirish), so unless you've changed steam accounts you should still be on the whitelist.

As far as obtaining the weapon, you would have to do so though IC means, like making contact with a weapons trader, or taking one IC from a place that could reasonably contain it.

If memory serves me well, which it doesn't often, Dave reaffirmed that exchanging one's scripts for their donated weapon is something only the original donator can do. End of.

If the original donator is banned? (I may be confusing tunnelsnakeirish for icecreeper)

I think if a player becomes banned and they're banned for three months, then their weapon goes into public domain, but that's something Dave would have to clarify. All the script regulations are fucking bonkers and worse than the kinds of things I implement, simply because Dave never writes it down and then sometimes is wishy-washy about them.

e. The weapon exchange thing is still supposed to be only for the donator and their specific weapon. Weapon exchanges are pretty sketch in nearly every circumstance.

I dislike the idea of having steamID locked scripts in general.

I don't think tunnelsnakeirish is banned.

Icecreeper is. Banned AF.

Tunnelsnakeirish is banned to my knowledge.

That aside, the striker is a hilariously bad shotgun and the only reason you want it is because it's good scriptwise. You're not going to roleplay shit about that gun.

I think watching your standard, untrained partisan attempt to figure out how to reload the magazine would be kind of funny to watch though

"Where bullet go in?!"

The striker is a cool looking gun, effective in a few games. That's it. IRL it's horrible.

I'd love to watch some backwoods hick try to figure out how to drop the drum mag only to eventually realize in horror the gun he paid $2000 for is loaded through a loading gate like a revolver and manually wound like a fucking alarm clock between each shell.

well, I mean, the first 12 shots are nice

but I hope you enjoy reloading as much as revolver ocelot

god dammit the few call of dutys ive played have lied to me for years, it looks like a lovely gun on there. i feel betrayed

Only the person who actually donated for the weapon is entitled to get automatic refunds OOCly (for an admin to give them the weapon they need to trade in something of value like another rifle or some credits etc still instead of just getting endless reimbursements for free)

If youre on the auth list for the weapon - thats fine.
However you would need to get one IC.
Easiest way is probably through me ingame as Beswick.
I know its not ideal if you dont RP with me often or ever see me on but since blackmarket dealers are all but non existant not much choice.

The group vest he donated for is a similar case - you would need to hand in an existing vest to trade for it with an admin.
