It only finds a handful rather than the thousands it normally does.

I can't connect to the TnB servers. Can't even find them in-game or in steam server browser. Tried doing it through console, nada. Deleted clientregistry.bob, nothing. Deleted everything but steam and steamapps to reinstall pretty much everything also didn't work. Closed my firewalls/antivirus and made sure they made steam an exception - still nothing. Game worked just fine yesterday.

I also recently reinstalled Gmod yesterday and was able to connect to the server. Right now, the servers that pop up I can join, but many don't appear. Can't connect through site or friends either.

Also, I verified and such.

uh

pray

no but seriously, i'd recommend that you also post on the Facepunch or h/e makes GMod's forums

Gave that a try. Did nothing. Going to reinstall Steam and Gmod again for now until I can find more solutions.

if u wanna go deep id suggest wireshark to see why/if connections are getting blocked

From what I'm reading, it seems like more of a general router issue than Steam.

I'll have to probably factory reset the router and some other things since it turns out my browser can't access certain sites. Flushed DNS, and nothing.

Could be malware but I tried another computer and it has the same exact issues. I'll be cleaning my comp tonight as well regardless.

If its none of this, then its just my ISP fucking me over with a stick and I'll have to contact them tomorrow.

whoever runs or has access to your firewall w/ you probably changed ports around and blocked some certain applets such as java to not run unless unblocked

Okay well, it turned to be the router/ISPs fault for the websites, but Steam still isn't able to let me connect to TnB.

Fixed it. It was the router acting up due to all the internet crashes.
