TnB Community Announcement - TRP

Considering we still have coding work to do it'll take, ATLEAST, another month like Lambda said. We'll be able to give a clearer date once we got more work done, but when it comes to storyline and the different groups, we've already laid out more than just the groundwork on how they'll function.

Are you able to tell us any interesting features or hints? Maybe some good QoL, improvements, and neat scripting when it comes to playing as a SkyNET drone?

Further info will come later, mostlikely after announcing who is fully on the team etc. We don't want to spoil y'all too much already on day one.

My original post is really just the tip of the iceberg. We will be disseminating information between now and launch. Once perms are all situated and the team is announced we'll be making information dossiers, field manuals and just ooc posts doing our best to explain how the setting will work.

What I can say now though is we will not be retaining any script work from any previous version of trp. The script is entirely overhauled.
 
Good to see TRP getting it's teeth back by promoting a Skynet agenda and normalizing permanent death, helping create organic content instead of people feeling like they need to sacrifice their time to create massive operations to keep the masses happy. If we can recreate something similar to the Kyle Reese flashback in terminator 1 I'll be happy. Create a character, someone throws a gun at you, welcome to the resistance. Let's do this.

Wish Slug and Fury were here to see this. If Ammo doesn't come back I'll be pissed. If Dave comes back, i'll laugh and get ready for the next youtube video.

I'm glad people are supportive of the more hard-core setting. Honestly having skynet feel like a side antag in trp3 that had little to no threat was just depressing to me. I felt little reward for destroying a big 'skynet superweapon' when skynet was seemingly barely holding out against us.

I want people to feel pride in a victory against the machines, and I'm happy so far people have agreed with that.
