We've received a lot of requests for players to be allowed to play zombies since the beginning of the server, and with the second phase of a formal outbreak having broken out and zombies roaming the streets of New York City proper it's about time we put the horror in their hands.
There's no formal induction process for this one; if you want to play as a regular zombie, just ask and you'll be given the whitelist. Anybody can flag onto a "normal" infected at any time, and can even request temporary observe flags to move around and find folks and make roleplay as needed. The "special" infected we've seen crop up here and there are a more conditional case; ask first and discuss it with an admin or two with what you intend to play and how you intend to use it before trying to portray or come up with anything wacky. There isn't a real formal list or process to make these here, so if you have anything in particular to mind, just shoot it an admin's way first and speak your mind.
This is also your go-ahead to play people who are infected but not quite "turned" and things in between, there. Go nuts. Gamemasters have immediate access to undead characters as a matter of course.
