The walls are closing in, in, in, so tight that you might find yourself hard-pressed to move a singular muscle. Some might bide their time and wait for the walls to expand anew, some might simply let themselves be crushed. Others choose a far more straightforward path: breaking down the walls wholesale.
With the National Guard's grip on Brooklyn having slipped to the point where they've forgone the vast majority of it, all direct paths in and out of the borough have been all but sealed save for one: the Brooklyn Bridge that protests the increasingly-empty skies with its arched silhouette, ramparts of the veritable military castle erected around Brooklyn. Rumors and secondhand information illustrate a fortified, relatively-contained path through Manhattan and into New Jersey, Wand into greater New England from there. The path will be long, perilous, and likely paved with corpses upon corpses — those of the survivors, of the Guard, and of the reanimated dead — and the possibility always remains that the rumors are just that, rumors, with nothing but a dying world on its last legs awaiting outside of New York.
But perhaps it is better to die on one's feet than to live on one's knees. Rumors of safe zones, functional civilizations and communities, and vaccines being deployed light the path ahead. The world is irrevocably changed, but perhaps not dead just yet.

As previously announced, the action-packed ZRP3 finale will take place tomorrow, December 13, 2025 and will begin to kick into gear at around 7:30 EST. This will be the final formal GM-and-admin driven event before the epilogue, so here's your chance to go all out and blow the resources you may or may not have been hoarding. Following the event the map will change to rp_scp_county_dp3f_nc, where it will remain until server shutdown in early January.
