Setting: The Domestics (2018)
I came up with this idea while re-watching the movie, the movie itself was enjoyable to watch and I'm positive there could be alot or RP potential. While everything on this world isn't a sea of roses, I'm sure this would bring the worse of people in terms of RP so attaching yourself to your characters wouldn't be a good idea, there would be a lot of kills and S2K in a post apocalyptic world where there isn't no zombies/mutants etc. The antagonist of this RR is humanity itself. This takes place in Milwaukee months after the biologic attack, so the gangs are something new.

There would be a few groups:
Domestics (Almost like TRP scavs, known for being affiliated with any gang)
Gamblers (Know by leaving decisions to chance, usually rolling the dice to decide something, very hostile to domestics.)
Sheets (They wear white sheets over their heads, known for scamming domestics and/or extort them.)
Plow Boys (Your typical truckers, very patriotic, known for being neutral to domestics. They patrol the highway usually taking payment from anyone who wants to access them)
Cherries (Female only gang, known for their anti-man politics, very friendly to female domestics.)

I decided to leave relations between groups other then domestics out of this because I want them to be settled in-game.

Duration: Full week, hopefully there will be more
Resources: To be added.

PS: There were more groups but i decided to keep them out of this because they revolve around sex trafficking businesses and that is a no go if a group is focused on it.

doesnt seem like the best setting for an RR. the setting isnt really a classic that alot of people know (personally, ive never seen the movie. idk how many other people have seen it) unlike past RR's (vietnam, the thing, alien, zombies) that people already knew/had pretty good idea of.. most RR's also have a direction in mind because they're in a short span, so usually the larger storyline is vaguely setup and thought of previously rather than just having a setting more fit for day to day rp. it seems more like you'd want to set it up as its own server rather than a short-spanned storyline.

the factions probably work in the movie, but they dont seem all that great for roleplay. domestics are just freelancers it seems, the gamblers just rp_1d20 everything. both the gamblers and the sheets just seem like bandit groups (groups which tend to be played more as event characters/main villians rather than real server factions.) the plowboys are just post-apocalyptic truckers i guess? and an all female anti-man (lesiban) gang is just asking for trouble on tnb.

none of the factions seem to have much of a real philosophy for characters to align themselves with and/or be sympathetic towards apart from surviving (unless there's more to them that you havent said/isnt in the trailer), and i think you'll be hard pressed to have 5 fully active and different factions going in a regular server, let alone one that's supposed to last a week.

"While everything on this world isn't a sea of roses, I'm sure this would bring the worse of people in terms of RP so attaching yourself to your characters wouldn't be a good idea, there would be a lot of kills and S2K in a post apocalyptic world where there isn't no zombies/mutants etc "

people dying immediately left and right isnt going to be great either (especially if you're going to count s2k's as real deaths), and if you want to keep all of these factions going when characters are leaving through the window like hotcakes. people arent gonna be happy campers if they put together an interesting character archetype only to die the second day, and the other side is people just remaking the same character with a different name over and over, or characters being the bare minimum and flat.

tldr; setting works better for a movie than a rp setting, too many factions to keep running, and seems angled towards a full server than a RR. i appreciate you puttin out your ideas and putting in some effort though.

I appreciate the criticism, you pointed out the flaws I didn't realize at first.
