Hello all.

I recently bought some new, handsome and not too expensive (not cheap either) stereo headphones. They work all fine, sound is great n' all, but, in games, when I point the source of a sound (for example, someone talking) the volume drops down and the voice becomes a whisper. Same thing can happen in SRP too, where I can only hear radio music from one side of the headphone, if I look at it directly the music turns silent.

I wanted to know, is there a way to fix this?

If not, is there a way to switch from stereo to mono?

What kind of headphones are these? Did you install any software with them? Did you turn off the volume adjust for voice in control panel?

i know what your problem is. right click on your sound settings and go to playback devices then a pop up should appear, go across to the communications tab and click the "DO NOTHING" check box

when people speak it shouldn't lower their sound now

also i'm assuming ur on win 7 and ur not a fucking queer, this should be the same on win8 too

Dind't explain well, sorry.

With "people" I mean "NPCs". When I look at them talking, for example in a FPS, their voice turns a whisper, and I can only hear by turning my character's head left or right, pointing his ear towards the one who's talking.

Another thing happens with SRP radios, the one spawned by SATT users. When I look at them directly, the music simply goes off. I can only hear it from one side of the headphone.

Hope that it's somewhat explained now.
