SRP Weapon Model Issue

I just got the MP5 in SRP, and whenever I equip it, nothing appears in my hands (When I reload my screen moves around, since I have SharpeYe, and it makes sounds when it reloads), but there is no actual model for the gun.

Does the model come from the Megapack? the SRP Pack? Or from CS:S?


The error code i'm getting is -

Error Vertex file for 'weapons\v_smg_mp5.mdl' checksum -1529060773 should be -1018881130



The MP5 appears when other characters equip the weapon, but it doesn't show up (for me) when I equip it.

Have you tried unholstering it.

rp_toggleholster in console with your weapon equipped.

Yeah, it doesn't appear when holstered or unholstered. My other weapons do, like my Fort-12 and my Makarov, but not the MP5.

the model is broken on your side, try deleting and reinstalling it.
(sorry, if i knew where to get it i'd tell you. i had the same issue with the ak47 for a while)

So wait, is it from CS:S then? I just reinstalled the Megapacks (the updated version) and the stalker content pack, but it's still nothing for me.

Yeah, just got it sorted out. Thanks for the help guys, it was a CS:S issue.
