Source game error.

"Unable to load c:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\username\day of defeat source\bin\filesystem_steam.dll"

I get this error for TF2, DoDS, probably CSS. I recently backuped nearly all of my steam folder and more when I got my new laptop and put it on here. Old lapotp was 32 bit, this one is 64 bit, although I doubt it matters.

Restart Steam.
Restart Computer.
Delete the filesystem_steam.dll and let it redownload.
Reinstall Game.
Reinstall Game make sure to delete everything.
Reinstall Steam.
Give up.

Re-install steam? ;-; But thats like.. Then I backuped it all for nothing. Thats almost 100GBs.

the filesystem_steam.dll isn't updated yet, on DoD:S for you.

TF2 etc have it too, how do I update it ? I tried to.. Remove it but it auto re-DLed and still same error.

Did you try deleting the file

go into the library and right click on the games
then go to properties, and local files

then hit hte verify integrity of game cache button
