You and your crew have been carefully selected from a large pool of applicants and placed in active command of Weyland Yutani's newest long-range cargo and exploration vessel, Marin. You have been chosen to serve on the most up to date of our company's fleet and will enjoy the luxury of several weeks outside of cryostasis whilst in-transit to remote mining post L-115.
While en-route to your destination you will meet with several company experts bound for the facility in possession of the delicate equipment needed to form the beginnings of our newest terraforming project and the start of a whole new world to settle on.
These experts are among the best and brightest around, each able to tell you more about the rich history and goals of our company in our tireless endeavour to make a better life for all humanity, everywhere. Howdy folks, this RR is finally being planned and put forward.
The setting is simple, and very heavily inspired by the original Alien movie I trust we all know and love. A crew out in the remote regions of space picks up an alien egg and all hell breaks loose as the perfect killing machine goes on a rampage, killing off the crew one by one.
It's gonna be real simple. I knew a small group would be needed to make this coherent but I didn't want to exclude people, so I thought why not make each of these a one-shot just for a night events, since it makes sense to be a high-action thing all at once event, and do it again for another small group the next night, and again for a third, over the course of a weekend. So that's how this is going to work.
Just ask for a role, give us a character name, literally any background works. You can even be a real scumbag. Here's the thing, Weyland Yutani didn't pick the best crew, they picked names out of a hat. You don't even have to be good at your job unless you're going for one of the actual Weyland Yutani positions.
