random sounds playing in garry's mod

This is a problem myself, and quite a few others have had since as long ago as I can remember. It is incredibly annoying, but I don't think anyone has ever come up with a reliable fix.

Validating files does not fix it. Neither does reinstalling, or anything like that. I've gone through multiple computers and multiple re-installations, it always happens, seemingly at random, with different sounds playing in different areas on different maps. Stopping sounds does not solve this- it is only paused for a brief moment before beginning again, forcing me to play without sound most of the time.

As far as I can tell this occurs only on TnB servers and not in singleplayer, but I am not sure of that.

Please help.

Its the soundscape, something with the script/multiplayer fucks with them.

I think for the most part you can blame the maps soundscapes

the map cannot be the only factor as it does not occur in SP

maybe your game doesnt load the soundscape unless its being forced to by the server
