Another note: IRC isn't a 24/7 chatroom for you to spam with stupid shit, think of it as a quick chat for the forums, where you discuss a certain topic for a while, idle, show off some media/interests, don't expect people to respond immediately, it may take a couple of minutes. IRC's are meant to be kept running in your background.

All TacoNBanana Administrators and Moderators will be provided Op on once they have been registered with the IRC.

To those who already know how to connect to the IRC.

Port: 6667
Channel: #TnB
CyberPunk Net Roleplay Channel: #ProxifiedTnB

This is Advantage's IRC that he hosts off another community's dedi, he set it all up for us GUISE <3

First : Download HydraIrc From Here : http://www.hydrairc.codownload.php?file=HydraIRC.exe

Second : How To Install And Use :


1. After Download Open The Setup .

2. Click ' Next ' then ' I agree ' then choose the location you want to install in , then press ' Next ' >> ' Install ' >> ' Next ' and ' Finish '


3. Now we installed HydraIRC , Open HydraIRC this message will show , Press 'Yes'

4. Select On ' User Identities ' then Press ' New '

5. This Will appear then Fill in the first few fields. The description can be anything - no one sees it but you. Real Name doesn't have to be your real name, either. Use name and Nick should be the same thing , then Click Add and Click OK.

6. Select your Identity name and click 'Set As Default'. then Click OK.

7. Now Type ' /server irc.ug-rp.net ' into the Server Input box and hit Enter.

8. This will Appear , Press ' Populate List ' , then Search ( in [name] side ) #TnB , then select it and press join

BOOM welcome to the IRC.


HOW TO REGISTER YOUR ACCOUNT.

Once in the server, type the following.

/nickserv register yourpassword [email protected]

And you're registered.

AFter you leave, to log back in do.

/msg nickserv identify yourpassword

To Those Roleplayers


When your account is register, to change your name to your characters alias, do.

/nick OOCName|ICName (No spaces are allowed in your name.)

Was a tad bit more complex with mirc but I managed.

Edit: NickServ is bitching and does not want to register for some reason. Giving it the
"NickServ examplepasshere myemail@here" prompts an error telling me that examplepasshere could not be recognised as a command.

Mind taking a look at that how it works with mirc? Registaration that is.

You need to do /nickserv REGISTER examplepass myemail@here
And add me to SF (cghaynes) if you have any issues with mIRC. I use it all the time.
