major lag on server

very often when i join srp i get this crippling lag. my game freezes for a few seconds, then for about half a second unfreezes, then freezes again. it makes playing virtually impossible and it often does not go away. it seems to be paired with this console message

This normally happens to me after long runs on the servers of having not restarted in a while. Even if I leave the problem continues until I shut down the comp. I guess try that.

so this happened to me on this old necro shit and so what i did was turn my computer off and unplugged the power cord and put icepacks on top of the case and then after about 5 hours i got back on and switched out the icepacks so it stayed cool and then it fixed itself like *snort* *snort* magic
