    o 1 Purpose
    o 2 Performance
    o 3 Agent Roles
    o 4 Rules and Regulations

Intelligence and Security and its represented members of staff exist to cleanse the indignant manifestation of 'free-thought' and resistive tendency against the Union. We subsequently are the vaccine to the infection - certain units whom live a counter-life within our district and jurisdiction. As such we are a benefit to the aptitude of the Union and perpetual-progressive state it leads. You, as enrolled staffers, mesh into the sociostability ranks with a position relative to a Fireteam Leader. Where they exist for combat orientation and external operations, the Correctional Officer's place is at home with the units. Correctional Officers follow orders from the housed INSEC department, its staff, and the High Command cabinet. You have been chosen as social elites that manufacture and initiate productive behavior within the Union's ranks.

As all investigations are concurrent or pending - you, as an extended agent of intelligence, are expected to submit at least one report per month to the archive. This is not mandatory but going against this quota does not earn you merit. There are exceptions to this rule, which are on a personal basis adjudicated by your superior. This book will not tell you how to acquire evidence or how to investigate; this should be common knowledge following your mandatory ANNEX training or else you would not have been chosen for this field. You should have your own terms and code of conduct whilst carrying out orders, as every unit is an individual - how you obtain information is by your own means, if it is in bounds of the Union's law code. Whatever you do in your actions, it is for the Union. Correctional Officers do not allow anti-Unional behavior and we expect that every unit handpicked for this assignment cannot and will not go against benefactor's will. You are personally making the world smaller and more secure, in reach of the stars. An agent has as much authority over a case as they can muster in their reports - if you feel there is something unmarked that should be investigated but it would be against orders, you are able go against said orders and get such information. Procedurally, the righteous are the presumptive. You have been chosen because of an adept skill of understanding wrong from right and finding flaw in perfection. You are a credit to the field, individual.

Under no circumstance can you compromise the integrity of the Union when among the ranks in their 'camaraderie'. You are a Correctional Officer and a friend to no-one. This profession comes first and foremost - you are to be investigative of the squad you pertain to. If you feel your opinions and determinations are compromised, please report to your nearest DOGMA facility. You are able to have a digit change among several other credential, identification and personality alterations if necessary. Reports are forwarded to command, individually you file said report to the archive and await confirmation of order or code. Certain codes can be declared upon operations, based on the severity of them. Your commander or leading officer within INSEC decides and authorizes these. You are able to cooperate with other INSEC operatives to secure information or share it, if it will help in your case and/or investigations. Teamwork and cooperation are heavily encouraged between departments, correction officers are urged to contribute any acquired intelligence to another unit’s report. Dedication is also a key point for work within sociostability. These three listed factors are all expected within INSEC as they are for any other squad within the CCA.

Rules and Regulations should identify general categories of misconduct or inappropriate behavior that are subject to disciplinary action. An incident of misconduct or inappropriate behavior may fall into one or more of the following categories:
    • Crime: complaint regarding the commission of an illegal act that constitutes a violation of the criminal code including disorderly and petty disorderly persons offenses.
    • Demeanor: complaint that the unit's bearing, gestures, language or other actions were inappropriate.
    • Minor Rule Infractions: complaint for conduct such as untidiness, tardiness, faulty driving, or failure to follow procedures.
    • Serious Rule Infractions: complaint for conduct such as insubordination, drunkenness on duty, sleeping on duty, neglect of duty, false statements or malingering.
    • Treason & High Treason: any crime committed by a unit that helps the active rebellion.
    • Medical Deficiency: A medical condition (psychological or physical) that makes the unit unfit for active duty.
    Disciplinary Path

To avoid and prevent those incidents of happening again, serious disciplinary actions should be taken. Going progressively through the following penalties is advised however it is not required and up to the cabinet members of High Command. Correctional Officers are afforded the luxury of autonomy to act.

    1. Oral reprimand or performance notice.
    2. Written reprimand.
    3. Reassignment in duties.
    4. Suspension to nexus confines.
    5. Loss of a promotional opportunity.
    6. Demotion and reeducation.
    7. Permanent discharge from enlistment.

    • Unit in case will be under constant watch when on duty from a CO or trusted member of the Union, similar to a parole system.
