So, I'd like to couch co-op Resident Evil Revelations 2, and in order to do that I need 2 controllers, it doesn't support Keyboard + Controller setups. I've got an old Xbox 360 USB controller and my PS4 controller but that's it. Xbox controller works as expected, but when I plug the PS4 controller in the controls are all funky. I have to hit circle to enter in menus, which is usually what you hit to go back instead (unless you're playing like mgs2 or something) and when I move the camera analog stick to the side it moves up and down, and vice versa. Tried to google it, but everything tells me I have to download some program (which when I ran through VirusTotal one of the things said it wasn't safe to use because of adware or something).

then you want to select that first link there

and your scanner might be trolling you because ds4 has no adware and is just a false accusation against an executable.

i got ds4windows and on the controller readings under profiles it works just fine, up moves it up, left moves it left, so on.

still a problem in resident evil revelations 2 though, when i move left it goes up and when i move down it goes left and it's super annoying to try and play. when i start up splitscreen mode the other controller is working just fine, but the ps4 one is still having issues.

e; the controller still doesn't work in other games either, i tried it out in gta iv and it doesn't do a thing.

i dont think gta iv is a very good benchmark for controllers working

why not? even though the game's badly optimized it plays just fine with a 360 controller, and the point of DS4 is to trick the computer into thinking of it as a 360 controller isn't it?
