lets be honest

every character mentioned here wakes up, blinks their eyes open through the misery and gets up to put on their little citizen jump suit and then they go and attend their work shift that they have no choice but to attend. when they complete it they collect their ration which is just enough to keep them going into the next day

they retire to what is described as their apartment and they try to sleep through the bad dreams in order to get enough rest so they can do the same tomorrow

there is no happy ending
Word for word what I wrote.

probably cause tnb has consistently had a hl2rp server every year since 2007 and not because i made a post on the forum saying there are no happy endings

tomie allegheny silently ditches everyone she knew in city 45 and manages to weasel her way back to the sea of concrete and glass known as city 1 to be put to work at UBC's WKCT-TV 5 station with her being on 2-3 different types of medication ontop of whatever caffeine there is to keep her awake and attentive to her work

however, the inefficiencies and failures of UBC's city 45 UCTV-7 lingers over her shoulder for just about the rest of her life, essentially (unknowingly to her) ensuring she'd never rise beyond her current position in an already rigid system

later on in this timeline her life ends abruptly after being gunned down on a dim street just before nightfall in a targeted attack against union collaborators (not important enough for personal assassination (KWAB))

Guustaaf Van Doorn eventually met up with his friend Rex, forming an enduring cartel and grow operation which spread throughout the city’s underworld. The cops eventually caught on, and six years later Gus was shot twice in a brutal three-way shootout with the cops and a rival cartel. The MPF couldn't find his body afterward. The cartel continued to operate with or without him until the uprising, slowly shifting into running weapons and ammunition between different resistance groups.
Some would claim they still saw him on balconies and rooftops during the night, causing trouble as usual.

Haytham Reese continued to slowly but surely lose his humanity. Eventually, the stresses from constant conflict, his severe phantom pain, and anti-fatigue addiction drove him into accepting memory replacement. As an empty shell, it was only a matter of time until he was simply inducted into the OTA. Locked away in a synthetic mockery of a human body, what remained of his personality and sanity was slowly drained by memory wipes and replacement. At least what remained of his curiosity was sated when he got shipped off-world to fight in some distant conflict in another universe.
The monster wanted nothing more, deserved nothing less.

Clark Smith looks down from his window. Giving out a good smile, he walks over to his bed and slips and falls out of the window. Thinking he can fly at first but no....humans can’t fly.

Dylan White goes to his life as an Accountant. He kinda remembers life in the uprising but he knows nobody remembers him.
