Help with internet

Like the title says, I need help with my computers Internet.

My Dad's computer is hooked up to the modem/router. I use a wireless adapter to connect to them.
My computer right now is getting a No Internet Access/Limited Access for some odd reason, which is the problem.

Cycle the network adapter on and off.

What I have tried:
Rebooting pc
Rebooting router
Cut off router/modem
Cut off router/modem & dads pc
^that and cut off all PCs in network

This is the sort of problem that could be fixed in a few minutes in person but is difficult to solve remotely. Needs more details.

Ipconfig spits out a 169. Ip instead of a 192. Ip

Solved, it was McAfee's fault. Lock, delete, w/e
