    - ooc shitposts will be removed. don't do that, full stop.

    - "ic" shitposts will be removed. there's not a lot of space on a bulletin board to begin with, but especially not when it's used by an entire resistance movement - expect dumb messages to be removed and tossed into the nearest fire ic.

    - ooc discussion is heavily discouraged in this thread. if you must, make sure it's for the sake of clearing up misunderstandings. once these misunderstandings have been cleared up, the discussions themselves will be deleted or edited out by a moderator and the conclusion will be left along with a brief summary (as needed)

    - if you absolutely must commence an ooc discussion, do it in spoiler tags like this rule snippet

It's a proper sheet of paper, for once.

    To: Everyone
    From: Hothead

Two things that'll make your lives easier:

1 - Always have a lookout to keep an eye on the bridge. Always ask if someone is doing that. If you don't get a response, it's now your task (ideally with a friend, because four eyes see more than two). This way, we can warn eachother in case they come knocking for a search so we can prepare & hide - and having a lookout means we can carry smaller equipment like radios and sidearms on the surface without having to worry about being held up in searches, thus further improving our effectiveness as group.

2 - Never carry your full gear on the surface. Use duffle bags, suitcases, travel bags if you have to move it somewhere (not everyday carry) - it won't look nearly as suspicious as a group of armed insurgents rushing over the streets, nor will it cause nearly as many searches and raids. Failure to follow this second rule will result in being disarmed regardless of whether or not you are with FGC. Ignorance is not an excuse, either.

On the fringes of Hothead's paper where it was most convenient and easily discernible appeared a simple request:

Some dirty paper, probably scrounged from somewhere. The writing is legible, at least.

"Are ya'll doing anything with the stockpiles of food sitting underground? If not, I'm gonna yank some for my own deeds."

Also, why did you write "ya'll" and not "you all"?

There's writing on whatever space is available near the response, same handwriting as before.

"Oh. Alright. Gonna use some for drop offs. Got other bits city folk could use."

A small, beige piece has been taped onto the board, with words written in pen. It reads:

Hi ya'll. A smiley face is drawn next to it.

I received a very nice gift from a stranger and have decided to start collecting a small library for FGC to use.
If you have any books you'd like to donate, I'd greatly appreciate it. We already have the following:

    • A Tale of Two Cities - Charles Dickens
    • Les Misérables - Victor Hugo
Deperately looking for any copies of The Divine Comedy by Dante Alighieri, as well as works by Tolstoy, Homer, and Faulkner.
    Thanks in advance!

    - Kerry.

A Mancunian woman who hasn't been seen in some time pins a note to the board, close to the last.

Have available a number of books, in same print (amateur make, may contain mistakes. Please note and relay for second issues), twenty copies of Communist Manifesto (1848) in loyalist-quality paper. Also additional Vox Populi back-issues (x80 each, delivery to be made upon request in small groups for distribution).

Requesting additional opinions on name change for Vox Populi publication, options are:

    • Militant
    • Revolution
    • Red Flag
    • Solidarity

Someone clothed from head to toe in concealing garments approaches the board. Their shortness makes them stand out (Aside from the ridiculous 'tacticool' outfit she's wearing.)

"keep the name! i actually really enjoy the vox populi publishings, and i think the name really fits!"

The note is written on a large, yellow smiley sticker- almost like the ones the greeters give you at Walmart. It measures to be around the size of your hand, and it's stamped right onto the C17PLM note.

Some ergregious writing is scrawled into the few spaces left on the note.

A piece of the daily crossword section is slapped onto the wall, a message scribed into the blank spaces.

"So whats the protocol on waking up your guards. I see them kinda dozing off sometimes. Iunno, figured I'd give a heads up. Also, watch your asses if you still linger in the city. These recruits have something to prove."

There's a piece of tattered paper on the board. It's covered in dirt and odd stains.

"Hey, Sunny here. Still at White Forest, and if you're wondering, "Hold up, Sunny? How did you pin this message on the board?" Easy answer my good friendos: Got a courier to to send this letter to my favorite fighting freedom force in City 17. While I'm here, I could grab couple of readin [Scratched off with a magic marker] Actually, I'll just grab a bunch of shit and movies before I leave.
It's not stealing when I'm borrowing it for a long time, right?

P.S, theres this hot nurse and im gonna try and bang her, wish my luck"

    On top of Sunny's letter...
    There's another worn tattered letter.

"Okay so this courior guy has pretty good rates for express delivery. Also I've gotton a couple of letters saying that I was in the city couple of days ago? Shooting the cops and stuff? no. that was my good friend Hyung-Gu Walter. Looks like me, and hes there kinda like my replacement. On standy by just in case of a big firefight breaks out. Like shooting to kill them combines on a moments notice.

also the nurse slapped me after i made a move...
ps please send letters and shit on what you need from white forest. imma try and shove everything in my bag."

The Blue Cross needs more medics - ask for Hothead or Kerry if you're interested in joining. Previous experience is not required, but very much welcome nonetheless.
Keep in mind that being a medic is not synonymous to being a soldier with first aid knowledge. You will receive mixed training in most practical fields until you're a capable enough surgeon and internist in one package, though the majority of your training will focus on combat casualty care and aftercare.

In other words, you'll become too valuable to be placed directly at the frontlines - you'll either provide rear support to ensure the risk of you being injured (and subsequently becoming unable to treat other casualties, or yourself), or you can take up an entirely non-combatant role without having to feel like you could be doing more. Trust me, your hands will be full.

Naturally, joining the Blue Cross indirectly means joining FGC, so you'll get to enjoy all the privileges that come with it.
Exceptions may be made if you're uncomfortable with joining a cause and having a purpose, or if you're in a unique situation that may not allow you to head underground for too long.

Scribbled in- something? Red ink, probably- on top of Allison's note.
"I'll try to find you sometime, then. It's- been a while since I've done anything of note in this area. I'm in the city from the outlands for some time yet. Let me know."

It would be nice if everybody exercised caution from here on out. Have a buddy or a group of buddies when you're moving about. The creature that push this out of the previous base is very powerful mentally and I've heard reports of people being lured into the sewer entrances even if they're up top in District 3. Let's not give this thing anything more to eat.

A small post-it note was practically jammed onto the board with the usage of a crooked pin tack.

"If anyone has cat food. Dry or the mushy packet stuff. I'd be grateful for it.
