Fucked content and me

Have read the guide and it's how I went about it the same way but it still doesn't work.
Tried to uninstall the map made by Zak then resubscribed and then restarted gmod.


It's mainly doors that have an error above them which is weird, the doors themselves are fine.
And some stairs like the one at the start is just completely gone.

i think the errors above the doors means the door frames are missing. have you tried manually deleting all your addons in your folder already?

Haven't yet but if there is no other way I might have to. Just hope it doesn't remove any advanced duplicator files I have saved..

Yeah, I have Half Life 2 and both episodes mounted along with CSS.

dont worry, advanced dupes, ctp presets, and all regular gmod tool presets are saved in your data folder, totally seperate from your addons.

just navigate to:
\Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod\addons

highlight and delete all the files in there, and then start gmod up. sit and wait at the main menu until it finishes installing and mounting everything.

if you want to quicken the process and be extra sure, id just unsub from all non-tnb addons before doing this, that way you'll have to manually delete fewer addons and reinstall fewer addons.

e: also another thing, once before ive verified my hl2/episodes game caches and found some files missing, this could also help if the addon thing doesnt work, but normally the addon deletion is a catch-all easy solution

Was hoping to avoid this but I did exactly that which wasn't difficult but it's a real chore.

to be clear: you have both subscribed to the map and the map's content, right? if you have then im really not sure what the issue is...

I have subscribed to the content link you get when you see 'view content' over the F3 thing and if that's what that is then we're both on the same page about not having any idea.
But whatever ! Guess it can't be helped..
