FPS lag with hud, No lag without hud...

My fps with the HUD on is normally 5-15 and is AWFUL. But when I turn it off I get well over 60 fps. Any way to fix the problem, keeping the HUD on? Its really irritating to play without the hud...

This is a known problem. And I don't think theirs a way to fix it.

The issue is how the HUD handles some things in the script, and really it can't be fixed without development work.

I wouldn't hold your breath for anything considering there is way more important things to do.

I believe we now have a console command you can bind to toggle the HUD.

Can't remember it but that should be a great help to those with FPS issues.
