I'm proud to share with everyone what you've patiently waited for from ZRP! We've been hard at work preparing the content and gamemode for you to enjoy, and it's finally time to announce what's new! These changes are not a to-do list; everything here is live on the server right now. If you haven't heard, there will be a public playtest this Friday and Saturday, the 12th and 13h. We invite you to join us in looking for any bugs missed during development. Please ask questions here or ping me in the ZRP discord and I'll answer them as soon as possible!

Core Changes:
- Removed HL2RP-oriented features.
- Replaced Simfphys with Glide as our vehicle base.
- Removed gamemasters/moderators.
- Improved backend performance.
Cell Phones:
- Added functional cell phone items.
- Characters spawn with one, and more can be acquired by a misc goods business.
- Cell phone numbers are randomly generated in a narrow, but still expansive, range that guarantees no number is someone’s in the real world.

- Added contacts.
- When calling and texting, contacts will appear in your chat with their names. Non-contacts will appear as their phone numbers.
- Contacts are tied to individual phone items, which means you could use a different phone to message someone anonymously who would otherwise have you as a contact.
- You can only add, remove or view contacts who are loaded on their characters. This is an unfortunately necessary limitation of Eternity.
- Use /addcontact "phone number" in chat or rp_addcontact "phone number" in console to add a contact.
- Use /removecontact "name or phone number" or rp_removecontact "name or phone number" in console to remove a contact.
- Use /contacts in chat or rp_viewcontacts in console to view your contacts.
- You may also right click on your phone in your inventory or use the C-menu to access buttons for performing these commands.
- Added calling.
- Unless you mute yourself, your speech will automatically be transmitted over the phone without needing to use a chat command during a call.
- Use /call "phone number or contact name" in chat or rp_startcall "phone number or contact name" in console to start a call.
- Use /answer in chat or rp_answercall in console to answer a call.
- Use /decline in chat or rp_declinecall in console to decline a call.
- Use /mute in chat or rp_mutecall in console to mute yourself during a call.
- Use /end or /hangup in chat or rp_endcall in console to end a call.
- Added texting.
- Use /text "phone number or contact name" "message" in chat to send a text.
Factions and IDs:
- Added equipable ID items.
- This replaces the use of speciesstates for determining faction.
- A player equips their ID to go on duty and unequips it to go off duty.
- Rank, if applicable, is displayed in the ID's description. This is tied to the item, and if it's somehow lost a new one will need to be spawned and reset.

- Added the following IDs:
- id_debtcollector - No team change. See economy section.
- id_federal - Sets scoreboard team to "Federal Government"
- id_city - Sets scoreboard team to "City Government"
- id_military - Sets scoreboard team to "National Guard"
- id_nypd - Sets scoreboard team to "Police Department"
- id_workers - Sets scoreboard team to "City Services"
- Added an armory box entity for gear requisitions.
- Like other entities, it must be placed in the world by admins.
- Functions the same as requisitions through an HL2RP combine terminal.

- rp_createfactionid - Allows player leadership to spawn their faction's ID.
- rp_promote "name" - Allows player leadership to promote a lower ranked member.
- rp_demote "name" - Allows player leadership to demote a lower ranked member.
- rpa_promote "name" - Allows admins to promote anyone in any faction.
- rpa_demote "name" - Allows admins to demote anyone in any faction.
NYPD and 911 Dispatchers:
- Added a deployable police cruiser item.
- Requisitionable by characters ranked Sgt+ from the armory.
- See the "Deployable Vehicles" section for more information on deployable vehicles.
- Added a police computer entity.
- Must be spawned in the world by an admin.
- Police-specific GUIs are accessible through this entity.

- Added a GUI for police to view and edit citizens' records.
- Accessible through a police computer or with rp_mdc in console or /mdc in chat while standing next to or sitting in a police vehicle.

- Added arrest warrants that can be issued and viewed in the aforementioned GUI.
- Warrants may be viewed by any officer, but can only be issued and revoked by a Detective+.

- Added 911 dispatchers.
- Police characters have the option of being a dispatcher by selecting the "Play As Dispatcher" button on a police computer.
- Once set, the gamemode does not require you to stay next to the computer. Please do not abuse this.
- While a dispatcher, you will receive calls from players who type "/call 911" in chat.
- If dispatchers are on but busy with other players, dispatchers will be informed to call you back.
- If no one is playing a dispatcher, dialing 911 will prompt you to input a message that will be sent directly to police. This is similar to the CR-devices of old.

Clothing:
- Added new clothing items.
- For more information, see Straylight's thread.
Deployable Vehicles:
- Added new deployable vehicle items.

- Added a GUI to customize your vehicle.
- Right click on the item in your inventory or use the C-menu to access the customization option.
- Most cars have alternate frames and colors, but some have one or the other or none.

Economy:
- Added ATMs and bank accounts.
- You can deposit and withdraw money at will from your account through any ATM.

- Added loans.
- Loans can be taken out and repaid at any ATM.
- Characters who take out large loans may find themselves the target of people trying to collect their debt!

- Added debt collectors.
- Being a debt collector is determined by equipping the appropriate ID item.
- Debt collectors get to keep 20% of the money they recover.
- You may apply on the authorization board to be a debt collector.

- Added a daily salary characters receive in their bank accounts.
- This if $40 by default but can be changed by admins with rpa_setsalary "name" "amount"
- Added a business license for vehicles.

Crafting:
- Updated the way food is crafted/cooked.
- Cooking entities (stoves, microwaves, grills, campfires or fire barrels) still open the old crafting menu for drugs and certain prepared foods.
- For single-ingredient cooking, simply stand near the cooking entity and use your C-menu or right click on the item in your inventory and select the "Cook" option.

- Moved the crafting GUI to the F3 menu between the inventory and business tabs.
- Often during C13 players were limited in their crafting by lack of access to admin-spawned workbench entities. Those entities are no longer needed.
- Cooking, however, still depends on its entities.

- Updated existing recipes and added a handful of new ones.
- Removed unused crafting entities and items.
