Deleting two old characters with loans.

I have two characters, Eric Hall 33976 & Sergey Gomez 82629. Both of which are over two years old and rather outdated. Both of which have loans, thankfully one admin has helped me pay Eric's loans so I can delete it but I get an error:

Additionally, I'm unable to take out a loan on any character. Or I can take the money, none appears, and none disappears when I pay it back. I presume this is related to "BadChar" in some way.

If possible, a solution would be nice to fix my loans problem, and either delete both Eric and Sergey, or provide the means to a workaround so I can delete them. There may be some two year old reasoning behind it all, which I'm sure you can find out.

You can't delete them if they have loans to prevent abuse. A developer like tanknut has to manually delete them or you can ask someone to spot you the credits (Someone with a unit maybe) to pay the loan off for deletion.

Alternatively you can do what I did and save the slots for event/cota/xenian characters in the future. Maybe rename them and just tell people it's a recycled slot.
