ctd on join

no error message to post because their is no message
was in the middle of an event on the new yanov map way earlier today when my game just dissappeared, as if i'd hit alt-f4
now whenever i connect, it does the same, so i can't even load in
the loading pauses for a few seconds before sending client info, which is normal, but then instead of seeing sending client info, the game closes itself outright

things i have tried:
verify game cache
load map before joining
delete cache
gmod_mcore_test 1
restarting computer


DK told me gang fixed an addon issue but i guess that wasn't my problem
i do know that for some reason trying to load the stalker map content addon in my spawn menu crashed me in pretty much the same way, so it's possibly just a prop that's spawned
if anyone knows how to fix the problem with the map content that might set me straight

have you kept the old tnb content packs whilst joining

you should remove those that says [outdated] or the sortt

Try to fuck with your graphics settings, I had similar problems on other maps and raising everything a bit fixed the issue.

Try raising the settings a bit, maybe ask a friend how their graphics are set.

It may be too late, but you should close steam 100% before downloading the map addons. Then, open up Gmod. If it still doesn't work, restart gmod and try again.
