So I'm unsure of where to post this CCC, but given that STALKER Roleplay is on its way back, I think it is fair and accurate to post this now considering that the Half Life 2 RP administration team is still holding people banned when those particular people have expressed interest in the other sub-community that is coming up.

I, and I hope many people in this community can see that this can cause unnecessary issues and drama spawning simply due to the fact that an admin from 'Sub-community A' can prevent a player from playing solely at 'Sub-community B'. I don't think it is right for admins involved in one sub-community to be able to decide that a player can never play on the entire community ever again.

Not to mention that many unbans threads have been met with unsatisfactory answers, such as 'No' and 'I agree with "name" , and immediately the thread is locked. I remember the old SRP Administration where discussion threads of unbans were actually made public, and people can see that there was an actual conversation being made, and admins made an effort to be neutral as much as possible despite how they may have personally felt.

If you are going to have a discussion about this, avoid shit-posting and try to be as constructive as possible. TnB is once more changing and it is going two have to sub-communities, so it is important to address this as soon as possible.

If you cannot behave on one server then you cannot be trusted to behave on another. This CCC is dumb.

also toast why did you lock this thread

But that's a matter of opinion, your title is an admin on HL2, not SRP. So you shouldn't be able to decide that at this point.

How about naming specific people who feel great injustice at their bans being carried over to SRP? Because I am willing to put a considerable amount of money down that they're retards who deserve it.

not entirely true as many people, im sure, would take HL2RP more seriously than SRP or vice versa.

i mean if someone wants to come back for srp only, let them and if they decide to do the same things they did on hl2rp i mean its obvious they'll end up in banned land, whats the harm?

As far as im concerned theyre not connected if you get banned from HL2 / SRP you can still play the other until youre banned there

no its not a matter of opinion if someone breaks rules on one server why would they suddenly obey the rules of another server

This is fact here, you should not be able to make any administrative decisions regarding another sub-community.

Except they were banned from the community for their behavior (even if 7dast asked for a ban himself) and not just hl2.

Yes, HL2 and SRP are two different subcommunities, but they were banned from TnB entirely, regardless of how many sc's there were/are at the time.

putting your text in bold doesnt make it any more important or sensible floki
i don't think it's an opinion that if someone has proven multiple times that they're a retard then they should be considered a retard no matter the server

i dont see the problem here. they just want to play srp, not hl2rp. i dont think they would make the same mistake twice, especially if they enjoy srp more.

Lol this is just absurd.

Here's what's gonna happen: all the shitters and retards that got banned ages back are going to crawl out of their holes due to the revival of SRP, they're gonna take advantage of this "clean slate", do the same stupid shit they've been doing for years and cause a whole lot of drama, shitty CCC threads and overall tears before they're finally sent packing again.

Avoid all this trouble and stop allowing awful people back.

Because sometimes the administration team can act with bias and prove to be pretty vindictive as a whole, allowing some individuals to remain banned because the majority feels a certain way towards the player. Regardless being banned for misconduct in one sub-community typically never carries over into another unless it's because of acts done with malicious intent, which leads to universal bans from the TnB community as a whole, not one facet or server among the many. Sometimes players (and admins) are just huge idiots and do stupid shit out of disinterest with where the sub-community is, and then they start repenting because things like this happen where a new server comes up. Since each sub-community gets its own set of administrators, it's up to that team to dictate who they want in their sub-community.

I can guarantee you'll see some dumbass go into SRP with the mindset that it's a sub-par community, and purposefully troll and do stupid shit until they get banned there. It's happened plenty of times before in the past. Depending on the severity, there's no reason for it to warrant an effect on their status in another sub-community, although it'll obviously play a role on how people perceive them, but that's something separate for them to consider themselves.

Ad hominem. You don't have any other points to make Floki besides 'your name is green, xeanos so your opinion doesnt matter'

if you want rule breakers on srp then you have to be an admin yourself to decide if they stay on the server too lad so i guess you can't make any administrative decisions either :^)
