It looks to me like you're missing Half-Life 2 content. I would reinstall hl2 and css if you have them, then delete the garrysmod folder once more and let it download the contents on it's own. Try connecting WITHOUT INSTALLING ANY ADDONS FIRST.

It's never too late. This map is worth it. Also, it should let you download directly as you join if you set net_maxfilesize 90 (or higher) prior to connecting. (It's about 86Mb I believe.)
