Okay anyone else on Mac, just basically do what Levin said! All I did was take my steamapps/name/garrysmod/garrymod folder (the one that had all the content like models, materials, maps). I just drug it over to the /commons/garrysmod and replaced it. I tried to play, didn't launch, verified...

Is that for Mac? I see the folder you're speaking about in steamapps/commons/garrysmod. It's exact same layout as the other gmod folder except bare (default stuff). Would I do harm transferring the entire /garrysmod/ folder over and replacing it?
