Serious HL2 Stranded RR

Setting: A family vacation. A business trip. Visiting your grandparents. One way or another, you ended up on a connecting flight meant to stop at the Juneau International Airport in Alaska, leaving out of Seattle, WA. Instead of reaching your destination, you ended up in the frigid Alaskan tundra with about a dozen other souls; lucky enough to survive the crash, unlucky enough to board the plane.

What will you do? Band with your fellow survivors of flight #1984? Or turn on them in pursuit of your own survival? Supplies are limited, injuries are plentiful, and to top it all off, you've now reentered the food chain of the arctic wilderness.

That's a really cool idea. I'm actually in the middle of writing a story about a razor train that crashes in fucking nowhere.

e2: okay, to solve this problem we'll say it was a flight to Juneau, Alaska. Now, I know this begs the question "who the hell visits Juneau Alaska?" If that's the case for your character, just say it was a flight connecting to somewhere more mainstream.

That's the map I'd initially intended to use and still do plan to. It's definitely on the smaller side but I think if we do the event a few separate times with different groups of 6-12ish each round it should be pretty accommodating. I also find that a bit of clever duping in certain areas can make maps seem larger than they actually are.
