What happened:
while i'll agree with the idea behind letting newer players do what they want and find their way around, there's a time where you gotta realize they're ultimately just fucking around on a rp server.

for the last couple days, dustin has been happily throwing himself at combine turrets for hours on end while entirely ignoring not just territory borders but also the presence of other players - it's as if he's in his own world. correct me if i'm wrong, but i don't think i've ever seen him drop a single IC line, either

he spends his entire time on the server hopping around the cca territory without any rp while flinging props around. numerous attempts to teach him about rp have been made by various people, but it's all been to no avail. in a little experiment where i assumed he was just running around like that because he didnt have a gun and wanted to find one, i dropped him a little peashooter which he happily spam-fired while sprinting around on the map.

he's not here to rp; he's probably too young to even understand the idea of rp. he's also been ignoring other players' attempts to interact with him, be it rp, ooc or just gunfire to deter him (let me tell you: he's not deterred by gunfire). again: attempts to communicate with him and to teach him have been made, but they were all fruitless.

I gotta agree that Void isn't destructive or in any way harmful but I don't think he grasps, understands nor cares about what the server is there for all that much. I tried to PM him and LOOC him a fair few times to get him to understand - he doesn't acknowledge any of it. I don't even think he's gone IC once, despite being prompted.

Cause and effect are also lost on him regarding why he keeps getting shot - he'll just keep running back.

i banned him cause he was up at 11pm at night and i didn’t want him to stay up late

I'd say we should try to teach him to rp but apparently that's been done. I like him tho so I'd say if he is banned it should be appealed when he proves he can rp

I agree though, he's probably under double digits, and never really did anything, and maybe a ban would help him open up a bit?

He did edit his COTA app with some "few" words (not exactly knowing what they said, unfortunately I didn't read it.) But he just needs a "Push" really. Also maybe some time to mature...

But other than that, he seems like the type of person that doesn't seem violent in any way, (which comes close to be uncommon-rare) and maybe that would be a good thing, we could help guide him in the direction of things, be a little easy on him?

I'm not really sure on the ban length, really. Just giving my opinion.
